Reverend William Banks, Jr.

Rev. William Banks, Jr. is a native of our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C. He was educated in the public schools of Washington, D.C. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Maple Springs Bible College and his Master’s Degree from Capital Bible Seminary.

In 1982, William Banks Jr. joined Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church under the leadership of Rev. Alfred A. Owens, Jr. He received Christ as his Savior within that year. In 1991, Rev. Banks joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church; under the leadership of the late Dr. Arthur Crowley where he became ordained served as minister.

In 1997, Rev. Banks became pastor of Trinity Baptist Church. During his tenure, a new church edifice has been erected, souls have been added and annual community events are held to spread the "Good News" of Christ. Rev. Banks has been married for over 32 years to his high school sweetheart, Rhonda Bennett- Banks and they have three adult children and two grandchildren.

More importantly, Rev. Banks loves the Lord and considers it an honor and privilege that GOD chose him to be a shepherd for HIS people for such a time as this!
