Rhonda Bennett-Banks is a native Washingtonian. She attended D.C. Public Schools and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.
Later, she obtained her Associate’s in Criminal Justice at Montgomery College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Science and a Master’s in Education at the University of Maryland College Park.
First Lady Banks received the Lord as her Savior in 1982 and her primary focus in life is to share the “Good News” the “Gospel” to all who has an ear let them hear.
She considers it an honor to serve alongside her husband in several ministries and continues to follow her passion which is to advocate for families and children.
She is the proud mother of three and two additional family members from Ethiopia who have joined the clan. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family, reading the bible, writing poetry, serving others, joking and antiquing.
Her favorite verses are Hebrews 12 vs.14 – Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord and Romans 14 vs. 11 – It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'” (NIV)
